Saphety provides qualified digital certificates in partnership with DigitalSign.

 

DigitalSign is accredited by the National Security Authority for the issuance of Qualified Certificates.

 

The Qualified Digital Certificates are the only legal option, whenever there is a need to sign electronic documents with evidentiary value, allowing to authenticate the quality of signing a document, whether as a member of an organization, such as President, Manager, Director, etc.., representative of the organization, or as a professional, lawyer, doctor, economist etc.

 

Choose the certificate profile that best suits your needs and sign electronic documents with your digital certificate, benefiting from:

 

• Have a signature probative value, avoiding legal fees;
• Email the duly signed documents with legal value or sign contracts / tenders etc.. online;
• Comply with the law of the Public Procurement (Article 27, no. 1 of the Administrative Rule no. 701-G/2008), mandating the use of qualified digital certificates to sign all documents loaded on the platforms;
• Comply with the Law n. º 60/2007, which establishes the legal framework of urban development and building, made it mandatory that the performance of electronic communications should be instructed with a qualified digital signature (Article 8-A);
• Comply with the Law n. º 25/2008, together with the Regulation. No. 79/2010 mandating that communications start-up and real estate transactions with INCI - Instituto da Construção e do Imobiliário are made through qualified electronic signature;
• Comply with the Decree Law no. 279/2009, which regulates the functioning of the private units of health services, making it mandatory for the realization of electronic communications should be instructed with a qualified digital signature (Article 12, paragraph 2.)
• It includes an identity theft insurance of qualified digital certificates

 

 Saphety provides 3 different certificate profiles:

 

Representative

For the purpose of organization´s identification, this qualified certificate profile is issued to a person who has competences of representation of the company or institution.
You must select this profile to sign on behalf of your company or institution. In addition to identifying the company, contains the identification of the representative and the respective representation competences, besides the possibility of specifying usage restrictions.

 

Member

For the purpose of individual identification, this qualified certificate profile associates the position / role certificate owner has in a company or institution, not allowing signing on behalf of the organization / company (for this purpose the profile "Representative" should be selected).
You must select this profile if you need to sign as a holder of an office in an organization, such as Commercial Director. In addition to the individual and company identifying information, may also contain the title and use restrictions.

 

 Individual

Used for the identification of an individual person. You must select this profile in case of individual entrepreneur. In addition to identifying information (name, ID, email address, etc.), may also contain the title and use restrictions.

 

 Qualified certificates may be provided in two types of Cryptographic Devices:

 

Smart Card and Reader	USB Token

 

Certificates are valid for a period of three years from the date of issue. The amount paid at the time of request for issuance corresponds to the acquisition of the cryptographic device ( smartcard + reader or USB token) and the first annual fee. The certificate automatically expires if not renewed before its expiry, by paying the price for the renewal annual fee. DigitalSign will send notifications in advance. 

The issuing process has the following steps:

• Fill online request form for issuing the certificate, with selection of the desired profile and cryptographic device.
• Proceed with payment. Await confirmation of payment receipt by Saphety
• Fill online form for identification information and the certificate data
• Send the requested documentation for DigitalSign
• Receive the certificate within 2 working days, after documentation receipt and validation by DigitalSign
