What are Timestamps?
Timestamps verify the date and time of creation, sending or reception of a document, and are a legal requirement within the scope of public procurement, according to Law 96/2015 of August 17th. For this reason, it is not possible to submit documents or send notifications on any platform without using this chronological validation service.

How long does the service take to stay active?
After the confirmation of the payment receipt by Saphety, the service will be active within a maximum of 24 business hours.
How many stamps are used in the SaphetyGov platform?
On the SaphetyGov platform, certain actions require the service of timestamps. Each action uses the affixing of 1 timestamp, except for the actions of submission of proposal, application, solution or improvements and the submission of any document in which, in these cases, each action/upload requires 3 stamps.

Can these timestamps be used on Saphety and on other platforms?
Yes. The electronic platforms operating in the national public procurement market and that are certified for access and exercise of the activity, under the terms of Law 96/2015 of August 17th, are obliged to accept the chronological validation certificates issued by any electronic certification entity that has the same service registered and published on the Trusted - Service Status List (TSL) issued by the National Security Office (GNS).
Besides the stamps, is it necessary to pay for any service activation?
No. The affixing of the timestamps is considered as a mandatory transaction performed by electronic platforms, so if any costs are charged those costs are not Saphety's responsibility.
